Hawaii Acupuncture Association 2022 Annual Meeting 11/13/2022 

The HAA 2022 Annual meeting will be held online Sunday, November 13th from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm via Zoom.


The Zoom room will open at 12:45 pm. Come early to say hello to your colleagues. Attendees may use the chat feature during the meeting to interact with other attendees.

The HAA Board will share about their efforts in the past year to promote and advance the acupuncture medicine profession in Hawaii. Attendees will also receive a link for a free recorded webinar on ethics and safety presented by Dr. Wai Low. 


Guest speakers:


Joni Kroll, DAc., Dac., Chairperson of the Hawaii Board of Acupuncture, longtime advocate for the acupuncture profession. Dr. Kroll will talk about her recent triumph over Geico and the future of the acupuncture profession.  


Jason Sargis, DAOM, LAc., President of the Atlantic Symposium. 

Dr. Sarges is dedicated to supporting Acupuncture Associations and is a passionate advocate for the acupuncture profession. 

Wai Low, DAOM, MPH, LAc, educator and CEO of ICAOM, Honolulu. Dedicated advocate for the acupuncture profession. Dr. Low will talk about advancements at ICAOM and the acupuncture profession. 

Cindy Chang, LAc, Ms. Chang recently went to Washington DC where she met with Congressional representatives to advocate for her Veteran patients and the acupuncture profession. She will give a brief presentation about her experience. 


Whitfield Reaves, OMD, LAc., Dr. Reaves has been in the clinical practice of orthopedic and sports medicine acupuncture since the early 1980s. His mission is the integration of traditional Chinese acupuncture with anatomy, western orthopedics, and sports medicine therapeutics. He will talk about what he does and how to consult with him for difficult orthopedics cases. 


Steven Rosenblatt, MD, Phd, LAc, creator, educator, practitioner. Dr. Rosenblatt is an innovator and a fierce advocate for the acupuncture profession. He has been promoting and supporting the acupuncture medicine profession since before 1972. He is now a commissioner for NCCAOM and will speak about how NCCAOM serves the acupuncture medicine profession.
