Our website was created for the general public, practitioners and students.

HAMA is a member of the American Society of Acupuncturists (ASA)

All HAMA members are ASA members

ACAHM Draft Program Revision Proposals

Dear Member,

The NCBAHM is helping to spread the word about the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine's (ACAHM) proposed revisions to its degree programs. The future of acupuncture and herbal medicine education is being decided right now - and your voice matters! See below for details.

ACAHM has proposed significant revisions to its degree program standards and is accepting public comments through June 21, 2026. Every practitioner, past and present, please take a few minutes to weigh in before this window closes.

Whether you hold current certification or were certified at any point in your career, your experience and perspective are directly relevant to this conversation. Don't let this opportunity pass without making your voice heard.
