The Hawaii Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Association would like to
invite you to our Annual Meeting on Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 at 6:30 P.M.
At the meeting, we will be conducting the following business:
Annual Report:
We would
like to take this opportunity to share what steps HOMAA has taken to over
the past year to reorganize and rebuild a
strong organization that can represent and serve the Hawaii
acupuncture community.
• We will present
two proposed legal amendments and welcome an open discussion on these topics to address any

• We will give a
presentation on membership benefits ranging from our new website to member
discounts. Please click here to see benefit list.
• We would also
like to address and discuss additional concerns that have been brought to our
attention, including the
minimal coverage by insurance companies and the illegal practice of acupuncture
by unlicensed
acupuncturists.
Annual Elections:
Elections
for new board members will be held at the meeting. Nominations from the floor will
be accepted.
This year’s meeting will be held at the Maple Garden Restaurant
located at 909 Isenberg St., Honolulu, HI 96826. This
event is free and includes dinner. Due to limited seating, please RSVP by mail
or telephone. Limit one guest per acupuncturist please.
